2008 Miss Dallas County Fair Rodeo Queen Pageant

Exciting new pageant coming to central Iowa! The 1st annual Miss Dallas County Fair (DCF) Rodeo Queen pageant will be held in conjunction with the 2008 URA/IRCA Adel Rodeo. It will be a new and fun experience for all! Many prizes will be awarded!
Girls will compete in horsemanship, interview, speech, & impromptu speaking. The pageant will be held Thursday night and Friday all day the weekend of rodeo. Friday night the new and FIRST Miss DCF Rodeo will be crowned before the rodeo.
Duties for Miss DCF Rodeo 2008 will include; helping with the adel rodeo, Dallas County Fair events, 4th of July parades, Iowa State Fair Cowgirl Queen Contest, Sweet Corn Parade, & many more as time goes on!
Girls must not be married or have been married & not pregnant or have been pregnant. We encourage people from all parts of Iowa as long as they are willing to represent our name well.
OPEN to ALL IOWA RESIDENTS ages 16 to 24 as of June 1st 2008
Attire for event as follows;
Horsemanship; Long-sleeved fitted blouse, pant product, boots, hat, belt and buckle. No vests, jackets, gloves or chaps.
Interview; Long-sleeved fitted blouse, pant product, boots, hat, belt and buckle. Vest and/or jacket may be worn.
Speech; Western style dress or a blouse/skirt combination. Appropriate vests or jackets can be worn.
Coronation; Arena long-sleeved fitted blouse, pant product, boots, hat, belt and buckle.
